Vintage Orange and Purple Butterfly Wall Hanging

I'm not sure what this vintage embroidered piece is supposed to be, a decorative hankie, or a tiny towel, so I crocheted tiny loops on the back to fit the 8 3/4" long stained dowel. Now it's an adorable OOAK wall hanging that measures 12.5" long.

The orange butterfly is so striking against the shades of purple and the green leaves. The light purple and yellow crocheted trim completes this piece.

All vintage pieces are preloved, so they might have some stains or marks, but that just adds character to an already interesting one of a kind piece!
