Vintage Grapevine Unique Wall Hanging

I wish I knew the story behind this vintage handmade grapevine piece. Someone hand stitched the grapes, the leaves and the vine, and then went haywire on the sewing machine decorative edging! They also used the tiniest hand stitches in lilac to attach a crocheted decorative trim. This definitely has character and that's what drew me to making it into a wall hanging. I hand dyed the cord to match the vine and stained the 18 3/4" long dowel. The total length from hanging is 15"

All vintage pieces are preloved, so they might have some stains or marks, but that just adds character to an already interesting one of a kind piece!
